how do i get the apple script icon off my menu bar?

all you have to do is hold down control and drag it off. ts the same for moving an icon or dragging off anything. next time please do a search, this is a very common question

ok. thanks for trying to help me, but the darn thing doesnt want to come off. i dont think i am doing anything wrong. i hold cntrl and drag it off. but it wont.

I think he meant to say Command, not Control Command works fine for me!
