Hey guys, I'm a noob but I really need help.
How do I get the arrows back to look at the sub folders? The first picture shows the arrows. But the second picture doesn't. thanks!

I believe that the disclosure arrows will appear if you arrange by "none". They disappear if you arrange by "name".

Right click in the finder window and you will see the "arrange by" option.

do you need it?
You can just double click the file and it opens.

Those are folders... not files.

You can doubleckick the folder and it will indeed open... but then you will no longer see the folder hierarchy to drag and drop. You can get some functionality back if you choose to show the path bar at the bottom of the window.
