How do I get the date of clips in iMovie '09?

I've imported months of video into iMovie '09 from my AVCHD camcorder (Canon HF S10) as i1080 (960x540). How do I tell the date each clip was recorded?

Click VIEW/PLAYHEAD INFORMATION

You should now see the date and time of your clips as you move your cursor over them.
