How do I get the skype drive icon off the desktop?

I would rather not have this skype icon on my desktop (see attached image), but have been unable to remove it. I already have skype in my dock and that's the only place I want it. How do I get it off the desktop? Thanks!

Right Click on the Skype disk and click "eject".

Tried that, but doesn't work. I want the icon to be gone even when I am using skype. Is it just that I somehow installed skype to the wrong location or something? Should I uninstall and reinstall? If so, how do I do that?
