macOS How Do I Get Time And CPU Out Of Terminal?

Im Trying To use Geektool 3 to customize my desktop and i really want the time and date on there.
can anyone share the terminal commands to get the system time and date so i can put them into a shell?

you can look at the manpage on your system for formatting options. I'd advise against googling "man date".
