it annoys me when i always have to go and use the menu to hide Photoshop. i want to use the shortcut, but i don't know what the weird 'up' symbol is.

and when a shortcut is listed as 'up arrow'(in picture form) +cmd +k what keys do i press to get that?

the picture should explain better. all i want to know is what keys do i press to do these two shortcuts?

The '^' means control. So to hide PS: command-ctrl-h

The up arrow means shift. So to get to the colour settings: command-shift-k

The outlined arrow is the shift key and I think the half arrow is also the shift key, does anyone know the really truth :)

and kennethmac2000, is that PS prefrences, or OS X prefs? and does that just show 'cmd' instead of arrow or something?

edit>> i just found the prefrences you're talking about in Photoshop prefs. now i'm even happier!! back to the good old 'cmd+h' to hide.:D
