Does anyone know if it's possible to hide "played" podcast episodes on an Apple Watch? Or is it the case that Apple has not added this as a feature to Apple Watch yet? I'm running WatchOS 10.2 and iOS 17.0.2. I have "hide played episodes" selected on my iPhone/Settings/Podcasts, but I'm not sure that is suppose to have any effect on the watch. Its driving me nuts having to scroll through so many episodes on my watch.

I’m not sure what settings in particular it requires but I can confirm that played podcasts disappear from my watch feed.

One thing to check is if you are in a playlist, you need to exit out and the. Go back in to the playlist to remove the played espisodes. Otherwise they continue to show up in the list.

I didn’t know I could make playlists in the iOS Podcast app. On my watch for example, I’m looking at Podcasts/Library/Latest Episodes. Played episodes show up here. Do they show up at this location on your watch?

Yes. On latest episodes, they do show up. But I never use that view so I hadn’t noticed.
