How do I identify the chip on a logic board?

I have an old early 2016 M7 12 inch MacBook. The SSD died on me earlier this year. I initially set it up to boot from an external SSD but decided to take it apart and swap out the logic board. I was able to get two logic boards from some broken computers I bought and want to know which one has the better specs. I have no clue how to tell which board has which chip. Does anyone know how I can identify this?
