I use both Opera and Firefox. I recently had problems with Opera and switched to Firefox for a while - got to like it.

1) Is Firefox any safer than Opera? It is at least as fast plus it has some very nice features.

2) Is there a way to bring over all of my Opera bookmarks into Firefox?

Any advice is welcome - I can't figure it out!!

But beware, that is a screenshot of Opera 9.20.

1. Try it. It's not as customizable as FF but it got Mouse Gestures build in, which drew me to Opera years ago.

Doesn't work

Hi and thanks for the response.

I saw that and have tried numerous ways to get them into FF but nothing has worked so far. "Save as ..." doesn't give me the options to save it to FF or even to Safari so then FF can get it from there.

Frustrating.

Hopefully there IS a way to work around this.

Thanks again for the input.

1. Opera
> Export Bookmarks as HTML
> Choose a location to save to

2. Firefox
> Bookmarks
> Organize Bookmarks (Shift + Cmd + B)
> Icon with the star (the 4th from left, 1st left of search field)
> Import HTML
> Choose location you stored the bookmarks.html

Got it!!

That did it, Spinnerlys!!!

Thank you. I learned a lot from that. Wonderful!

Thanks, p.a.
It's always good to get more helpful info. One day maybe I'll even be computer saavy!
