Hi,
I have a G4 Quicksilver with 10.3.9 installed. I want to install 9.2.1 in
"Classic Mode";BUT, when I start-up with 9.2.1 and select a destination disk the installer tells me:

"This version of MAC OS 9.2.1 may not be installed over the system software on the currently selected volume. Press"options" to perform a "clean install"."

How do I install so OS 9 works "within" OS 10 in the "Classic environment" ?
Thanks.

i think you need to partition the disk. install osx on the first partition of size 8gb or less, and then install os9 on any other partition. that's how i was able to install both osx and os9 on the same disk.

you can install both on the same disk . OS 9 has to be first than Install OS 10

With out needing to Partition the Drive ?
