im new aswell. dont you drag and drop into applications folder?

i tried that but it fails. usually when you run an applications it will auto drop into there when install or it will ask me to drop it in

thanks for the response tho

There's something not right with your disk image or something. If anything use the Installer program to open that file. Find Installer in (Computer/System/Library/CoreServices). This is what it looks like on my computer (thanks Time Machine for finding this old old DMG!).

i figured something was wrong. when i installed iwork 08 it worked fine >_> i tried repairing the permissions, but maybe if i select the installer and set it to default it will work again

EDIT: tyvm, i thought i was screwed when i didn't see it in applictions->utilities but then i saw you dited it with the correct destination, all works perfectly know thanks
