I am going to buy the Ipod touch 5th generation tomorrow, but I was wondering can someone tell me how to jailbreak the Ipod touch 5th generation?

Sorry for not doing a google check, I can't use pc much doctor told me to rest my left hand, been injured since July 2012 and still injured.

When I get ipod touch do I update to latest IOS?

Good god, there needs to be a jailbreaking 101 sticky on this forum :p

Yes, it's advised to update to the latest version (this case being ios 6.1), DO NOT UPDATE YOUR IPOD USING THE OTA UPDATE (Over-The Air, "wireless update"), always update using itunes or downloading the firmware (http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/). You can download the necessary app to jailbreak from the evasion website (http://www.evasi0n.com/) and select the download that corresponds to your computers OS (Mac, Windows, Linux)

Before you go about jailbreaking, it's advised you make a backup of your iPod using iTunes (right click on iPod in iTunes and select "Create backup") should something go wrong, you can always restore back to your previous stable state.

If you hand is that badly injured that you cannot manage a Google search, how do you plan to do an iOS update then ?
Or apply the jailbreak ?
Or use the iPod ?

Just thinking out loud

What has fewer letters to type: "How to Jailbrake iPod Touch" or the quoted post here? Go sell your ice to some other Eskimos. And, do a Google search liar.

I guess I overreacted, I was thinking that I would have to do a lot of searching to find answer on jailbreaking which would be painful, but a small search no problem.

I have tendonitis on my left hand thumb, I am left handed but yet can't use my left hand to write, I had to do my business studies exam with my right hand and then force my left hand at last minute to finish all question which was very painful. I have 1 more exam on May.

Sorry for being lazy, I guess with feeling pain everyday I wasn't thinking good. I been feeling pain since July 2012.

I had to give up gym since July 2012 thanks to tendonitis.

Anyway thanks for helping me.
