I've heard some of them don't work. Mine has a scratch that is annoying and I want to replace it.

Where is the best/cheapest place to get a good one?

Why can't anyone help me with this?

Best and cheapest are two completely different things. If you want cheap, go on eBay or Amazon. They have screens for $25-$30. Will they be the best? Definitely not. Cheap screens have high defect rates, and are made with very low quality components.

When it comes to replacement parts, you generally get what you pay for. If you are willing to sacrifice quality, then go with a cheap screen. If you are looking for a high quality replacement, then expect to pay much more than what you'll find on eBay or Amazon.

How much does a high quality one cost? What do you recommend?

I recommend iFixit, they have high quality parts.

Cool thanks, how much?

They are generally in the range of $50+. iFixit.com carries the exact same quality as we do, however, you will pay $95+ shipping.

iFixit is great for their repair/ tear down guides, however their parts are very over priced.

So you sell a factory quality LCD? Will I notice any difference between it and my original LCD?

Think about who you are conversing with. His/her job is to sell you a replacement iPhone screen. You know this based on his/her signature and his vendor badge.

Go to Apple or wait for the 5S, if you intended on upgrading. It is just a scratch, seems like a lot of hassle over a scratch.

I believe Apple is now doing in store screen replacement. So you won't get a refurbished phone. They will just take it to the back and replace the screen.

And that still costs 150?

Yes, we sell the same quality displays as iFixit. Our assemblies have the original LCD, Original frame, Original flex cables. The glass is AAA grade, just like iFixit's assemblies.

Our assemblies also have the original speaker mesh, front camera stabilizer, and foam on the LCD/ digitizer flex cables pre-installed.

I agree with you the idea of waiting for the 5S or getting the 5.

But, we are not just trying to sell OP a replacement screen. There are thousands of places to buy screens, I am just telling OP what we offer, and giving my thoughts on his post.

We have the vendor badge and signature so people that find our posts/ comments useful, or want to buy from us can do so. We dont try to hustle any sales, just give solid advice. We have gotten great feedback from the Macrumors community, and we want to keep pumping out helpful advice and tips. iPhones are what we know and love.
