How do I know if I have the latest version of lion

I just bought a macbook air at best buy and paid to have my computer configured. They said they didn't update my macbook but it already did it itself. How can I check to make sure?

To make sure it's the latest version? Just click the apple logo in the top left of the screen, then choose Software Update.... It'll check to see if there's anything for you to update, including the operating system.
