Hello I am new here I have a 27” 2011 iMac that I have repaired I have fitted a 1 tb ssd drive I am trying to load the patched Catalina iOS but keeps saying sip enabled I need to get into terminal to disable it . I have tried booting in recovery mode but won’t go into it can any body help tia

Try INTERNET recovery (not the same as "the recovery partition"):
Command-OPTION-R
at boot.

You may need your wifi password (ethernet is better for this).
It will take a while for the utilities to load, be patient.

Terminal should be part of the utilities.

Have you tried dosdude1's patch?
