I want to make a table, but I want each row to be numbered. But when I make a numbered list in each cell, each cell starts at 1. How can I make the list go down the entire table instead of restarting each time?

You enter the first 3 numbers, one on each row, then select them and place the cursor on the bottom right corner of the last cell, and drag it down until you fill the table with the numbers you want. It's similar to MS Excell.

Do the cells that contain the numbers have to be empty besides the numbers? Or can it be

1. Text...
2. Text...
3. Text...

Or must it just be

1.
2.
3.
