Like the title says.

I looked around but it didn't seem like an obvious setting and, being a mac noob, I can't figure this out.

I looked around but it didn't seem like an obvious setting and, being a mac noob, I can't figure this out.
  1. Right-click on an image file in Finder, such as a .jpg, and select "Get Info".
  2. Go to "Open with" and select "iPhoto"
  3. Click "Change All"
  4. Repeat for each file type you want to open with iPhoto, such as .png, .bmp, etc.
