I decided to try iCloud and I guess when I sync'd a lot of my iPhone's pictures went to iCloud but then I found out I exceeded the free limit and I turned iCloud off rather than paying for a service I really don't need. Looking at my iPhone, it seems that many pictures have gone missing. Does iCloud remove all pictures from your iPhone? If I re-activate can I then download all my iCloud content to my iMac's backup drive?

Thanks for the advice.

Mike
