How do I map a server in Lion using TERM to edit the hostfile?

Hi,

I need to map a MacPro running LION to a server on our network using TERM to set up the hostfile.

I know the server's IP address and domain... I just have never used TERM before so I have no idea of the syntax or what I need to do.:eek:

Can anyone tell me what I need to type in TERM?:confused:
