How do I move photo albums from Kodak EasyShare?

I just bought a Macbook. I have thousands of pictures/hundreds of albums that I have on EasyShare. I would like to put some of these pictures on my iPod , but don't seem to be able to search anywhere except iPhoto. When I try to search Kodak Easyshare from iTunes, I am unable to access any photos except on iPhoto. Am I going to have to export all of these albums from EasyShare to iPhoto?

After you connect your iPhone, you should be able to select the Pictures tab and choose a folder of pictures you want to synch. It's far less dynamic than iPhoto, but I don't think it's worth switching to iPhoto since it's such crappy software.
