When I see a list of rar. files that seem to be 'parts' of something, does that mean I have to download ALL of them in order to see what's there? I don't understand the concept. I tried to extract the file with a free program I downloaded online, but it did not work.
Can anyone explain to me (in novice terms) how to open these things? And maybe recommend the best app to do this with?
TIA

.rar files are compressed archives, often they are delivered as multi-part .ra files, meaning that the file compressed is split in multiple .rar files and you need to download all .rar files in order to extract the file within.
You use The Unarchiver or UnRarX to do this.
Was that understandable?
