How do I order ipad-mini without contract.

I forgot how I did it with my ipad a few year back, it says under all the networks they can roam. But they make me choose 1 of 3 services, if I just want it unlocked and just use a nano-sim, what should I do?

You can't do that. You have to pick one of the 3. But there's no contract. You can always use any carrier when you go abroad, though.

You're not paying an extra $400 to get it unlocked....when you pay $199 you are subsidizing with your carrier. If it didn't work like that, the iPhone would have cost you $649.
