I'm curious on how you all post pictures straight from your iphone to the web?

I tried doing it, but it wont allow me to select a file.

Is there an app for that? Sorry for the noob question. I actually searched for it, but all i could find were people posting pictures they took. :(

If you are a mobile me customer you can post to mobile me from the phone. From there if you wanted to post it to a forum you could link to the image address.

As for posting an image to a site like PhotoBucket, count me in as somone who would like to know if this is possible as well.

I always email it to myself, and then photobucket it right over.(on computer)
i cant think of any way(other than apps) that can host files and then put them in a forum type link.

Well i just looked. Theres a photobucket app :D. Awesome! (Its free too)
uhh just make a photobucket account: photobucket.com
Then just register it to your phone app I assume. Im trying it now. I would suggest not allowign others to go into your account without a password (I thinks theres an option for that)

(Ps its not updated for retina display)

Pixelpipe is a great app - it's designed to upload pictures and videos directly to just about any and every site you can think of, and many you've never heard of. Everything from Evernote and Dropbox to Flickr and Picasa, dailybooth, Facebook, ImageShack, youtube, all the major blog hosts; it works really well and is quite simple to do. You can upload individual pics, batches of pics, whatever you want. It gets both my thumbs up!

Yeah, pixelpipe is the way to go. The price is free and it works great uploading directly to your media place of choice. I use it to upload directly to youtube. It allows me to upload 200mb of 720p video (yes, HD uploading). I send my pictures to picasaweb, flickr, etc (not photobucket...ever).

I'd suggest it.

PixelPipe

Thanks a bunch guys for the comments. I've decided to download pixelpipe and try it. That seems to fit my need.

If you have issues, I've noticed it was easier to setup the "pipes" online via a PC or mac. Then just log in via the iPhone and do the uploads. I've here a few people couldn't setup things on their phone. Just FYI.
I haven't had the issue tho.

It worked! Yay! Additionally, I did it all on my iPhone(setup that is).

Is there an app that allows you to attach a photo in various forums? Or is the only way hot linking it from another host?

What about uploading (or even FTP) to a personal gallery on my web site then hot linking?
