OK, I'm pretty sure this is an insultingly basic question to be asking, and I do normally prefer to figure out things like that on my ownio or with some help courtesy of google (much more fun that way lol), but it's late, and I wanna print the #@&! labels and be done with it, 'cause I still need to stick the blighters on the back of a few hundred photos tonight, so I dread rather than relish the learning curve
Here goes: I need to find the quickest, most economical way to print some tiny (17.8 x 10 mm) labels. By economical, I mean mainly that I don't wanna download anything else on my mac if I can help it (it's kind of an obsession of mine lol); it's not so much about using up as few sheets as possible because I cna sacrifice a couple in the beginning to figure out stuff like the best font type and size. Here's the gear (soft- and hardware) that I have that could be of use:
- Leopard
- full version of iWork '08 (ie not trial)
- random HP all-in-one called, uh <checking> Photosmart C3180, which came with the following (I did a screen grab from my finder window because there's bucket loads of stuff, half of which is made up of more than three words and I've no idea what it is, so I thought it might be easier this way, I don't have to type all this, you don't have to read through it trying to figure out what the 'eck it is
):

Here's the extra catch: every sheet contains 270 individual labels
Of these, I only need about 40-50 of the same message (something mercifully short like MAR08#01 or StMartin's JUN05 b&w1, or my first & last name, 4 & 11 characters respectively). The rest will be other stuff. I've only done this once before, and it was the same thing on all the labels, and it was on Windows. So, help. Pleeease ?!*insert begging smilie*
Ok, go ahead and fire away!
Thanks!!
roisin
EDIT: forgot to say, the labels are Avery Zweckform labels (dunno if that matters at all)
