I have Parallels currently installed with Windows XP and I've been meaning to convert to Boot camp or VMware for awhile now. What are the proper steps to uninstalling parallels and the version of XP I have installed with it? The copy of XP was installed via Parallels and is NOT a boot camp partition. Thanks.

First delete the VM and then use the Parallels uninstaller. If you only use the uninstaller, it will leave a copy of the VM on your HDD.

You are aware that if you install XP again with either Fusion or in a Boot Camp partition that it will have to be activated once more?

Regards.
