Hi guys,

So I installed VM Fusion. But when I exit it, its like its not closed completely. Still working in background, as shown in attached pics.

How can I close it completely?:apple:

Cheers guys!

Left clicking the icon reveals a menu - down at the bottom it says something along the lines of "Application Menu Settings" - click that and witness the VMWare Fusion Preference Window (for the Application Menu) pop up - now set it to show on when VMWare Fusion is running or set it to be always hidden.

Good luck.

That is incorrect, just read the manua more closelyl ;) What you're seeing is the application menu which allows you to quickly start an app in a vm or the entire vm. What it'll do is start VMware Fusion, load the vm and then start the app (if you've opted to start an app). The manual will tell you this and also how to disable this tool. If you look in the options (Fusion and vm) you'll probably have seen it already. Handy quickstart tool if you need it and the best of all: you can opt-out.

Use cmd-q as always.
