I've got my iTunes library on a PowerMac G4 which is connect via gigabit ethernet to the router. My Mac mini, a client, is connected wirelessly.
(I'm surprised this I couldn't find this anywhere.)
I sleep the Mac mini. Before that, I disconnect the drive with the iTunes library so I don't cause problems with the PM. The only problem is when I wake the mini, the PM's drive doesn't show up in the Finder.
This creates a sticky wicket with iTunes; When it tries to sync my podcasts, it can't because the drive isn't there. Then I get the "!" next to everything. It is really annoying.
Is there an AppleScript to solve this? Or a Finder trick? I want something automatic and not-in-the-way, so an alias is a no-go.
Thanks.
