how do i record the screen with audio?

Hi, i'm trying to record the screen with audio for a Feedback Report, but everything i try just records the screen, but there is never any audio.

(I downloaded the current macOS Beta,
now all the sound on videos is playing at slow half-speed, while the video plays at normal speeds (like YouTube, movies & any saved files!)

but when i create a Feedback Report & use Screenshot to record, there is never any audio?
How do i record the audio too when screen recording???

I have checked Settings & the mic is on, & everything is fine

There is no way to do it with QuickTime, unfortunately. Using a third-party alternative like OBS that can capture native desktop audio in Ventura will work. It looks like you're running Ventura, so this should work.

is there a way to do it with Screenshot app? ...why can't macOS capture audio?? That makes no sense???

Nope. Because macOS is stupid sometimes and doesn't have features that are considered by many people (including myself), essential.

I haven't tested in Ventura, but on Monterey Soundflower still works with the ScreenShot app
