How do I reject calls while on lock screen?

When I press the sleep/wake button all it does is stop ringing, but the other person keeps on waiting.

When phone is on springboard, you get two options, answer and reject, while on lockscreen you only get one option, "slide to answer"

how can I send them to voicemail from lock screen?

I just press the Sleep/Wake button to silence them and put my iPhone back in my pocket.

There could well be something available within the JailBreak community that would let you do this.

you could also jb it and install EZDecline which adds a Decline button right next to Answer when in LS. Much easier than pushing sleep/wake button twice.
