How do I remove a contact in kik messenger?

Hi,

I can't seem to figure out how to remove a contact using kik messenger, could anyone who uses this app please tell me how to do so? I've opened the app, tapped the chat bubble to select a contact I want to talk to and held my finger down over the contact to see if anything would pop up for options but nothing.
