How do I remove an Apple ID from Lion?

I am having a problem deleting an Apple ID from my user account in Lion. Every time I select my account name, select change, and delete the Apple ID, the next time I log in to the machine, the Apple ID is back. No matter what I do. How do I make it go away for good?

(At the moment, having the Apple ID associated with my user account is breaking file sharing and screen sharing between my MacBook Pro and other computers in the house.)

Looking at that it would seem that you MUST have an apple ID associated w/ your account. Have you tried just changing it to a different Apple ID and then removing the other one you're having trouble with to the list?

I tested adding a second one and I was able to then remove the other. Hope this helps.
