An older iBook of mine had several problems and ended up being toasted. I have the hard drive from it, and now have a new Mac. Is there anyway I can the data off of that HD? ISn't there something you plug it into to turn it into an external HD? Any info would be appreciated!

You need an enclosure for a 2.5" drive. Something like this:

That was just the first one to pop up on the list. I don't recommend or endorse that particular model. You have a lot of choices, and to be honest, that one seems pretty cheap.
