How do I remove "shadow" movies in iTunes?

I had an SD version of Monster's Inc. I upgraded to the HD version with a new code, but iTunes still only shows the SD one (it shows as HD on my iPhone and ATV). There is no iCloud icon, though there is one on my iPhone. I've heard "remove download" might fix it, but the "Remove Download" option is missing. I can only Copy or Delete, but not "Remove Download". How do I get the SD version of the movie to get out of the way of the HD version?

you have to delete in from your purchased list and your movie list, which will lead to being hidden. after its been hidden you need to sign out of iTunes and then close it out too, then open it up and then sign back in and then go to your account page and unhide, that way iTunes sees the HD one over the SD
i've gradually been updating my account to HD purchases and noticed this little issue too
