How do I remove the background behide the slider for iPad mini and iPad 4?

Lockscreen Fullscreen isn't working for ipads.......

I have the same question... sadly it seems there's little (almost zero?) interest/support for theming the iPad.

If I could just get those background bars off the lockscreen I'd be a happy camper.

I'm going to start just digging around in the filesystem I think, they're just images that have to be in there somewhere.
