How do I remove the iOS8 download?

I have no intention of installing iOS8, yet the thing is taking up loads of space and annoying me with the (1) on the settings icon.

Is there any way to remove this download? If I want it then I should be able to download it, not have this BETA POS forced on me. It's taking up space and I want rid.

Got it, hidden amongst the list of apps. That's 2.8GB back

How can it be "hidden" ? The storage is listed by size. 2.8GB would put it at the top of the list.

Hidden as you have to know what you're looking for! I didn't expect it to be amongst the list of apps. I of course spotted it after a few mins. In 5th spot on my list actually...
