Please be patient with me, I'm very new to Apple products and not very technically inclined
I just purchased a jailbroken/unlocked Iphone from Ebay. It is in perfect working condition but it's just too much phone for me and I want to now re-sell it to make some of my money back.
Unfortunately, I have loaded it with songs from my ITunes and photos from my Iphoto. Now, I want to get rid of those things but can't figure out how. The only closest thing I have found is in the Iphone 'settings' app under 'restore'. It gives me the option to 'reset all settings' or 'erase all content and settings' and other reset options. I really don't know the difference between these options. I want to remove my stuff - the music, the photos - but want to keep the phone unlocked and jailbroken. Can someone explain what would happen with each of these reset options? Will restoring the phone wipe out the ability to stay unlocked and jailbroken?
Thank you, and please write your response as if you are talking to a 4-year-old, as that is the level of mentality I have when it comes to technical jargon!
