Hello everyone

i accidentally clicked "erase all history" instead of view all...and i have EXTREMELY important info on there i need. I looked in cookies, and don't have a time machine running. There has to be a way, right? Please help!

Yep, Data Rescue II. It'll take forever, and it might be gone, but it's your best hope. Also, if it's that important- stop using your mac immediately as it may write over those files while it's on.

the history is a single file; in Firefox it's just 'history.dat'. It's possible that it clears by just setting the size down to zero and you might be able to find something with data rescue, but don't count on it. I don't think the browsers usually wipe the file when you tell them to delete it, but if they do you are really out of luck.
