So I updated my carrier file to enable the tethering, and my phone is all screwed up. It's not ringing when I get phone calls, or my visual voicemail isn't working. I'd just like to revert back to what I had. I keep seeing posts telling me to go to Users->User->Library->iTunes->iPhone Carrier Support

but I don't have an iPhone Carrier Support folder anywhere within the iTunes folder. Where can I get the file?

i would also like to know this information. i really dont need mms by screwing with my phone.

I believe you have to restore your phone and set it up as a "new" phone, not using your previous back-up. I'm not positive, though.

I suppose youre on windows?

It is located at C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Carrier Support\

Nope, on a Mac. That iPhone Carrier Support folder is nowhere to be found

I had this exact same problem.

Option-click restore->name->Library->iTunes-> iPhone Carrier Support-> to the IPCC file that is in there.

EDIT: Saw that there isn't one. Hmmm.... don't know.

can you just share the file? I'm using an iPhone 3G 8GB

IDK. I know that forum rules frown upon users telling/giving people software, but would the mods frown upon giving a user an openly available update like the carrier file?

if you can't share it here, is there a place where I can download it? I looked on Apples site but didn't find anything

What I did was (I had backed up just after the 3.0 update) and I clicked restore. click yes I want to restore to factory settings, when that was done and it prompted me to either setup new phone or restore from previous backup, I did restore from previous back up and all my settings were put back the way they were. Pretty easy, time consuming but easy.
