How do I save a image directly to iphoto instead of dragging it there as I do now

If I right click on the image I cant seem to direct it straight to iphoto so I tend to drag it into iphoto or even save the image to the desktop. What am I doing wrong thank you as I know this is a dumb questions

there is no other way. you drag it into iPhoto. if you find a picture on the internet that you like, right click it and select "add image to iPhoto library" (in Safari)

I use firefox not safari , I will try firefox help there must be a way of doing it.
