How do I scroll between .jpgs pictures in same folder?

So, I have 2000+ .Jpgs in a folder and I would like to open one up than just advance to the next one without having to close window than click the next one in the folder. Seems pretty easy yet I can't seem to find the shortcut how to do this. I looked on google and searched the forum but it's such a broad/basic question I can't seem to locate it. I assume if i put them all into iPhoto i could just press the arrow keys but is there anyway to do it w/o that.

QuickLook is the way to preview files without opening the associated application by just selecting the file(s) in Finder and pressing the SPACEBAR.
Make the Most of Quick Look​

Open the first one and hit the SpaceBar to bring up QuickLook
Then arrow down or up
