How do I see the fps when running a game?

I was just wondering, how can I see how many frames per second my games are running at?

depends on the game. Usually means getting command prompt during the game, and typing in a code. Go to the main site, not asypr or who ever packed it for the mac, but who ever made the game originally. Look it up, and they will tell you if its possible.
