Hi,

Currently at my home, I have Belkin router which connects directly to the internet and uses WPA 2 encryption.

I want to extend my wireless network, so that I can connect my Xbox 360 to the internet via the ethernet port on the Airport Express. As by doing this, i9t saves me £60 on the wireless xbox adapter, and also it is not possible for me to get the router near the Xbox in my home.

I tried to set up the AE as a bridge using Airport Setup Assistant, but couldn't find the correct options to do so. Do I need to access the Belkin router to extend the network, and if so how do I then go about getting the AE to realise it is a wireless bridge?

EDIT:

Ok, I've managed to extend my network with the AE, however, at the moment this is useless, as I am unable to turn the ethernet port on while the network is being extended. How do I get round this?

Thanks for any help!
