How do I set my default video player to VLC Media Player instead of using Quicktime? I want all my video files to open always with VLC Media Player. I know you can right click on the video and select it to open with VLC media player from now on, but with over 400 videos, that can be very time consuming!

Thanks, Ben

HAHA, thanks. Ill jsut have to do that when i download batches of videos. Can it set the permissions for anything that goes in that folder?

You can right/two finger click on one of the files, and select "other" from the bottom of the "open with" list.

You'd then select VLC Player, and check the box on the lower left that says "always open with." That will apply for that file type. If your video files are multiple format, you'll have to do it for each format type.
