I have an HP 6840 printer that I would like to set some defaults for so that I don't have to go in every time I print and make the same changes. How do I change the default printing values so that, for example, anytime I print something, it prints at the fastest speed possible (to save ink)? I tried playing around with the preferances pane for printing as well as the software that came with the printer but I can't get it to do it. Please help!

By the way, I'm using OS X 10.4.2
