How do I set the Alert time for a calendar event with Siri?

Most of my calendar events involve going somewhere and setting the calendar event is useless without setting the "Alert me x minutes before" calendar field so I know when to leave, but I can't figure out how to get Siri to do it. I've said stuff like "Set an appointment for x at 4pm and alert me 25 minutes before" but what it does is changes my appointment to 3:35 (I think it thinks I'm saying set the event for 25 minutes before 4pm) and uses my default alert before from that time.

I'm not sure she can (yet). I've tried also many times and any string of words I put together don't result in any alerts being set. Maybe one day she can fully interact with every bit of our phones. Wouldn't that be nice.
