I have paid a developer to develop a paid-for App. It's going live shortly. The money it generates will initially go into his account but I have to set up my own account in the longer term to receive the money. It seems really complicated to do this! Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide on what I should do?

I live in the UK and can either set the account up in my name or that of a small company I have set up.

You can not transfer apps between accounts.

I you want the money to ever go into your account, don't let the developer submit the app for you under his account. You need to intensively study how to enroll an iOS Developer, enroll, and have the app submitted under your own iOS Developer account name with your bank account info. Many developers set up a separate company bank account for International wire transfers from Apple.
