Hey fellas, I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to use my Sony Ericsson T616 as a Bluetooth Modem so I can go online wherever I want. I can sync fine w/ it but whenever I try to connect I get the following message:

"No carrier detected. Please check phone line connection and try again."

My settings:

TCP/IP = Using PPP
Dial up number is entered

Modem = Ericsson Infrared
Enable error correction = unchecked
Wait for dial tone before dialing = unchecked

Thanks

I don't think that using the Infrared profile will work over Bluetooth. You probably need to get a Bluetooth modem script off the web. Use Google.

Anybody know the answer to this? I've been trying to figure this out for a long time.

So I think I got it figured out. But I can't find the modem script for a T616. Anybody have one?
