BestBuy just pushed an ad to my Apple Watch about a 3-day sale.

I don't need ads coming up on the face of my watch.

How can I turn these off?

Thanks for the help

Do you have the BestBuy app on your phone? It is pushing notifications to your phone, and your phone is set to push those to your watch. When you installed the app you must have approved its request to allow notifications.

If you go into the phone’s watch app there are settings for notifications.

Notice I have Best Buy toggled off on mine.

Thanks, guys!

Are the settings under Watch - > Notifications or is it in the Best Buy app?

The Best Buy website will have no settings to allow watch notifications to be turned on or off.

The settings are on the phone.
I was referring to the option to be contacted via phone number and text which would ultimately go to the watch. Even when I had the option turned off on the phone, I still got the watch ads. I ended up having to go to the website.

I just got an ad for vegan cheese from Safeway on my Watch. Tap tap! Look at your watch!... it's an ugly ad... . I don't know what is more gross, vegan cheese or ads on my effing wrist! I don't have the Safeway app on my Watch but I do (did) on my iPhone. My sister sent me some BS article from some vegan activist site 3 hours ago... and now I get this ad?

When you install the Safeway app on your phone, it includes a Watch component. You can go into the Watch app (on your phone) to disable notifications for the Safeway app. As LTLudwig shows above.

I’m sure that article your sister sent you had ad tracking on it. Safeway buys the data of who read the article and then spams those people. You block notices from the Safeway app. All part of the cycle of life… or cycle of predatory commerce.
