How do I stop High Sierra download?

The download has been saying 18-20 hours to finish downloading.
I don't feel comfortable with that nor do I want to wait that long so I just want to quit the download and try again a lot later tonight or some other day.
How do I STOP this download please?

Close your browser.

You can also go to the app store, go to the purchases menu, and hold the option key in the keyboard while clicking on the pause button, it will turn into cancel while you press the option key.
