How do I stop iPhoto from opening automatically?

I finally got a digital camera yesterday *steps into the 21st century*, a Canon SD400. The camera came with some software which I installed, and it works pretty well. However, I'm finding iPhoto difficult to use, and I like the Canon software better since it knows my specific camera. How do I make it so iPhoto does not open when I plug my camera in? I checked under preferences and all of the menus, but I can't find anything.
